Biography
Shang-En Hsieh, born in Tainan in 2010, commenced his musical journey by learning both piano and violin at the tender age of five. His prodigious talent quickly became evident, and by the age of 7, he was already performing as a soloist with orchestras. At 9, he pursued further studies in Austria and was admitted to the prestigious talent promotion program at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg.

Shang-En has collaborated with esteemed orchestras such as the Academy of Taiwan Strings Orchestra, Salzburg Chamber Soloists, Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra, Wiener Opernball Orchester, and Sounds Good Chamber Orchestra. His performances have been broadcast on 3sat and PBS TV networks.
AWARDS
Since beginning his competitive music journey at the tender age of 8, Sean has amassed a plethora of awards in both piano and violin. His achievements include the Gold Award at Piccolo Piano Talents 2021, the Special Young Talent Prize at the “Vienna New Year’s Concert” International Music Competition 2020, and first prizes at both the VI Odin International Music Online Competition and the 4th Professor Shu-te Sylvia Lee Violin Competition.
